KZA Engineering Obtains Use Variance for New Jersey’s Largest Habitat For Humanity Community
On December 15, 2008, the Howell Township Zoning Board of Adjustment unanimously approved a Use Variance to permit the development of a diverse mixed use commercial and residential development, known as Howell Liberty Greens, within the HD-2 zoning district. The application included provisions for age restricted single family residential lots, an apartment building, 9-hole golf course, child care facility, and a mixture of retail and office space. The highlight of the application, however, is the creation of a 30 lot Habitat For Humanity community in the center of the tract. This 30 lot community represents the largest Habitat For Humanity development in New Jersey. KZA Engineering is proud to be part of the planning and development team that put this project together. We look forward to seeing this landmark project come to life.
